The Adventurer | Gloss is one piece of leather built for two lives. On a trip it carries your passport, cards, boarding passes and cash. At home it becomes a Field Notes cover with a pen always at hand. Same piece, two jobs, no compromise on either.
Most travel wallets sit in a drawer between trips. The Adventurer was designed around flexibility, so it earns its place in your pocket every single day. Every element does more than one job.
Travel Mode: The right side holds your passport like a book, with room for boarding passes alongside it.
Everyday Mode: Slide in any Field Notes size notebook and it becomes a refined pocket journal. Swapping notebooks takes seconds.
One Elastic, Three Roles: It binds your notebook in place, carries your pen so you never go looking for one, and holds the whole cover shut while you move. Leave the pen out and it works exactly the same.
Your Elastic, Your Look: Pick from 8 elastic colours. It is the one detail that changes the whole look, so make it yours.
Made from 1.5mm full-grain Buttero leather: thick enough to hold its shape, thin enough to stay slim. Only 5mm on its own, and it stays flat even fully loaded.
Capacity: 10 card slots in a balanced 5+5 layout, plus a dedicated cash slot.
Versatile Passport Pocket: Holds your passport, works as a secure slot for documents, or takes folded bills when you are not travelling.
A Living Finish: The glossy Buttero surface deepens into a rich patina with everyday use. One of the photos shows the green version I have carried for a year. That is what this leather does with time.
Material: 1.5mm full-grain Italian Buttero leather with a natural gloss finish.
Thickness: Only 5mm on its own.
Fits: Passport, all Field Notes size notebooks (3.5" x 5.5"), 10 cards, cash and a slim pen.
Leather Colours: 9 Buttero shades, from Saphire Blue to Ruby Red.
Elastic Colours: Blue, Green, Tan, Brown, Orange, Purple, Black and Red.
Personalization: Optional heat-stamped initials, up to 6 characters (including ∞, ♥, ★ and &).
Craftsmanship: Handmade and hand-finished in our Istanbul studio.
